Lil' Owls
Lil' Owls is perfect for children ages 3-5. Athena Enrichment and Dance Academy offers two types of Lil' Owls classes: dance and art. Both classes are designed to help kids develop skills that will help them navigate life such as coordination, fine-motor skills, and gross motor skills as well as allowing them to be creative and gain autonomy and confidence. They are taught in hands-on ways with a strong visual learning base. Children do not need to be able to read, but being potty trained is preferred. Read about more specifics for each class below.
Lil' Owls Dance
Ages 3-5

Kids will experience a dance class that is more about movement and coordination than a particular style of dance. They will experience story telling through movement, brain activities involving their whole body, moving to the beat of the music, etc. These are taught by certified teachers and involve props.
Lil' Owls Art
Ages 3-5
​
This class allows kids to be creative and work in in all different types of art mediums. Fine motor skills are enhanced through the use of finger tracing, holding paint brushes, crayons, markers, etc., and the use of supervised scissor cutting. Most importantly, they get to express themselves through guided art projects.
